Marissa grew up in Billerica, where her love for animals began at an early age. She graduated from a tech school with her cosmetology license and was a hairdresser before ultimately following her true passion—working with animals. That journey led her into veterinary medicine, where she spent five years as a veterinary technician in a general practice.
She is dedicated to supporting both pets and their owners, always striving to make veterinary care as compassionate and positive as possible. She especially values at-home veterinary services, that reduces stress for both pets and their families. Providing comfort, care, and guidance during important moments is what she finds most rewarding.
Outside of work, Marissa enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and going on adventures. She shares her life with her two pets—a Maine Coon mix named Oliver and a Boxer named AJ—who continue to inspire her passion for animal care every day.
